SUMMARY: The 46th annual Peter Anderson Arts and Crafts Festival in Ocean Springs showcases artwork from talented artists, including local social artist Elizabeth Huffmaster. She paints daily, primarily using watercolor, and has participated in the festival for over 20 years, appreciating the connection with customers she sees annually. After developing her artistic skills from a young age and earning a graphic design degree, she turned her passion into a successful career while raising her son. Huffmaster’s work has been featured on the festival’s official poster, and she encourages fellow artists to keep creating. The festival also includes a program for young artists.

The Peter Anderson Festival is the largest arts festival in Mississippi where artists and food vendors from across the country visit.

Two Saint Stanislaus students achieve perfect ACT scores

Published

on

www.youtube.com – WLOX News – 2024-11-20 09:17:47

SUMMARY: Two students from St. Stanislaus in Bay St. Louis achieved perfect ACT scores of 36, a rare accomplishment. Gibson Williams, who started with a score of 35, improved through self-study and practice tests. Zviic Compella, initially struggling with English and reading, improved significantly, especially in those areas. Their success, in a small senior class, highlights their dedication and hard work. Less than a quarter of over 1 million ACT takers achieve a perfect score, placing them in an elite group of top performers. Both students have college plans, with Compella aiming for biomedical engineering and Williams considering finance or accounting.

With Saint Stanislaus’ small senior class, having two students achieve this score was shocking, but it all came from hard work.
