Saturday in-person absentee voting in Mississippi begins this weekend

SUMMARY: Mississippi can vote absentee on Oct. 26 and Nov. 2 at local circuit clerk offices from 8 a.m. to noon. Weekday absentee is available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eligible voters include military members, their families, disabled , , and others requiring absence on Election Day. As of now, 86,525 absentee ballots have been requested, with 67,802 returned. Mail-in ballots must be postmarked by Election Day and received within five business days. On Nov. 5, polling places will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Further information is available on the Secretary of ‘s website.
