Downed pole and traffic lights frustrating neighbors
SUMMARY: The intersection at McDowell and Robinson Road Extension has been blocked since Sunday due to a damaged pole, causing safety concerns for local residents. With the pole leaning and lights hanging, community members report multiple accidents and express frustration over the prolonged issue, stating the intersection is too busy for such delays. One resident lamented the lack of timely action, highlighting dangerous conditions as cars divert through local businesses. Although the city‘s Public Works Department acknowledged hiring a contractor, delays in repairs have left residents feeling neglected and in need of better leadership to address ongoing infrastructure problems.
