SUMMARY: Chastity Gonzalez, a Grand Bay woman, faces drug possession and child endangerment charges following a traffic stop in Daphne, Baldwin County. The stop was initiated due to an expired tag and suspicious behavior at a stop sign. Inside the car, police found drug paraphernalia and fentanyl, with Gonzalez reportedly impaired and unable to properly interact with officers. A four-year-old girl was found in a booster seat in the back, posing serious safety risks. The child is now being cared for by relatives. Gonzalez’s bond is set at nearly $10,000, and a no-contact order with her daughter was not enforced by the judge.

An expired tag and a car stopped at a stop sign for a suspiciously long time for no apparent reason caught the attention of a Daphne patrol officer overnight and led to an arrest and a shocking discovery.
