Governor Tate Reeves cut the ribbon on the new Restore Dock at Port Bienville Industrial Park in Bay St. Louis.
A moment of celebration after years of planning and work on the new Restore Dock at Port Bienville Industrial Park in Bay St. Louis. Hancock County Engineer Geoffrey Clemens said, “It’s the one day everybody can kind of pat each other on the back and tell each other what a good job they did and it brings everything full circle.”
Clemens tell News 25 although this $8.8 million project faced challenges during the COVID pandemic, they kept it on schedule….

Tax season has begun. Here’s when you’ll get your refund
SUMMARY: Tax season has begun, with the IRS expecting 140 million returns by April 15. The agency has introduced an online tool, “Where’s My Refund?”, to help taxpayers track their refunds. E-filers typically receive refunds within 21 days, while paper filers may wait up to four weeks. Refunds can be claimed if you paid excess taxes or qualify for credits like the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) or Child Tax Credit. New this year, the IRS expanded its Direct File program, allowing some taxpayers to file directly with the IRS without commercial software, now available in 25 states.
