Ribbon cut to welcome Cold Link Logistics to Ellisville
SUMMARY: Ellisville, Mississippi, celebrated the grand opening of Cold Link Logistics’ 200,000-square-foot cold storage facility, marking a significant economic development in Jones County. Governor Tate Reeves, Ellisville Mayor Lyn Buckolz, and other local leaders attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony, highlighting the $60 million investment and infrastructure improvements that made this project possible. Cold Link aims to address the gap in cold storage for the state’s poultry industry, reducing shipping costs and improving product quality. The facility currently employs 50 people and expects to hire 85 by the end of phase one, handling up to 60 trucks a day.
