Reward increased for missing man in Noxubee Co.
SUMMARY: The reward for information about missing Noxubee County man Kenneth Reed has increased. Last seen in February 2023 in Shuqualak, his vehicle was located but he remains missing. Reed’s family is offering a $500 reward for information regarding his disappearance and a $15,000 reward for details about his current whereabouts. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Noxubee County Sheriff’s Department or Golden Triangle Crime Stoppers.

SUMMARY: Jackson police are investigating the discovery of 76-year-old Arthur Ray Mikell’s body, found in a wooded area east of South Gallatin Street. Mikell had been reported missing on September 17, 2024. His vehicle, a white 2012 Dodge Ram 1500, was also recovered. Detective Tommie Brown noted that the cause of death remains under investigation.
