Report on first Trump shooting as funding increases | FOX 5 News

Man arrested after 23-year-old dead following argument over laundry, Rockdale County deputies say
SUMMARY: A man in Rockdale County has been charged with murder after allegedly shooting another man following an argument over laundry. The incident occurred just before 8:30 PM on Barcelona Way. Upon arrival, deputies found a 23-year-old victim who had been shot multiple times; he later died at the hospital. Deshun Elder has been charged with felony murder and other felonies. Authorities believe the argument took place about an hour prior to the shooting. The investigation is still ongoing.
The incident happened on Thursday around 8:25 p.m. on Barcelona Way when officers got a call about a person shot, according to the Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office.

Family pleads for answers in deaths of couple in burned home
SUMMARY: Britney W’s younger brother, Darus Woods, and his girlfriend, Britney Hall, were tragically killed in a fire at their home, raising questions about the circumstances of their deaths. Authorities have arrested Maris Holloway, 40, on drug charges and connected him to the couple‘s deaths. A 40-year-old from Meridian, Mississippi was picked up for drug charges there when officers realized he had warrants out of Dekalb related to the fire.

Arrest made after gun was heard going off at restaurant near Emory University campus
SUMMARY: Emmer University Police reported an arrest after a man discharged a firearm inside a restaurant near campus on Thursday morning. The incident occurred at Emery Point, an area with residential and commercial properties. Police investigation revealed that the shooting stemmed from an argument between co-workers; one worker allegedly retrieved a gun from his car and fired at another. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident.
The alert went out early Thursday morning and lasted about 20 minutes before an all-clear was given.
