Rankin County woman sentenced for possessing, passing counterfeit money
SUMMARY: Mary Glassmire Sessums, 43, of Rankin County, Mississippi, was sentenced to 12 months and one day in federal prison, plus two years of supervised release, for possessing and passing counterfeit currency. She and Purvis Dustin Ward had been identified by authorities and residents for using counterfeit money at garage sales. They were arrested by Pelahatchie police, who found counterfeit currency in their vehicle. A search of Ward's home uncovered counterfeit currency, uncut sheets, printers, and other materials for producing fake money. Sessums pled guilty, while Ward was sentenced to 30 months in prison and three years of supervised release. The case was investigated by the U.S. Secret Service and local law enforcement agencies.

State Imposed boil water notice lifted for Pearl

Shooting at Jackson apartment complex damages buildings, vehicles
