SUMMARY: A dry day with sunny skies is expected today and tomorrow, though chances for rain will increase by Thursday. Current temperatures are near 90°F, with manageable dew points in the upper 60s. Observations show mainly clear skies, with some low-level cumulus clouds developing. While Hurricane Kirk poses no immediate threat, another tropical wave has a 90% chance of development and could enhance moisture levels, potentially affecting weather patterns by the weekend. Rain chances are forecasted to rise to 60% by Thursday, remaining in the forecast through Saturday, before easing off into early next week.

SUMMARY: Meteorologist Mia Montgomery reports a cool Thursday in San Antonio, with morning temperatures in the upper 30s and a light freeze in the Hill Country, marking the coldest morning since February. Sunny, dry conditions helped afternoon highs reach the low 70s. Temperatures will dip into the upper 50s by 8 p.m. and low to mid-50s by late evening. The coming days will remain chilly, with highs rebounding into the mid to upper 70s. A potential cold front may impact the area around Thanksgiving, but no rain is expected, and severe drought conditions persist.

After the coldest morning since February, low humidity, sunshine, and calm winds will help temperatures warm into the pleasant low 70s this afternoon. A gradual warming trend takes shape over the next several days as we monitor another front sometime around Thanksgiving. Here’s an update with Mia.
