Ory felt that he and Fredericks, who crafted the original show and marionettes, did not receive proper credit, often being labeled mere assistants. They contributed significantly to Mr. Bingle’s creation, which brought holiday joy to New Orleans, with various contributors involved in shaping the character’s inception.
