Municipal primaries: Ocean Springs and Pass Christian see incumbent mayors fall

Former Ole Miss hurler Lance Lynn announces retirement from MLB
SUMMARY: Lance Lynn, former Ole Miss pitcher, has announced his retirement after 13 seasons in Major League Baseball. At 37, Lynn made the announcement on his wife’s podcast, Dymin in the Rough. During his career, he played for seven MLB teams, including the St. Louis Cardinals, where he won a 2011 World Series championship. Lynn was a two-time All-Star and struck out 2,000 batters. He set Ole Miss’ single-season and career strikeout records, finishing his college career with a 22-12 record. Over his MLB career, Lynn posted a 143-99 record, 3.74 ERA, and 2,015 strikeouts.
