PTSD 911 screening set for February 19 in Oxford

SUMMARY: Filmmaker Conrad Weaver is bringing awareness to the high rates of suicide and depression among first responders with his documentary “PTSD 911.” The film explores the experiences of real people working in these professions and aims to encourage first responders to seek help and motivate those in power to take action. Weaver believes that many first responders continue to work even when they are struggling, and he wants to change that. A screening of the movie will take place on February 19th in Oxford, with the goal of raising awareness and addressing the internal management and staffing issues contributing to the problem.
