Prosecution rests case in William “Polo” Edwards trial
SUMMARY: The prosecution has rested its case in the trial of William “Polo” Edwards, who is accused of killing Better Men Society Founder Robert Davis in May 2022. The state called their final two witnesses, Deputy Medical Examiner Dr. Ariane Robinson and Forensic Scientist Melissa DeBerry. Robinson walked the jury through the nine gunshot wounds that killed Davis, while DeBerry analyzed the bullets found in Davis. The defense questioned the discrepancy in the bullets to suggest that Edwards was not the only shooter. Edwards has not yet decided whether he will testify in the case. The trial is expected to wrap up early next week.
