Propst Park progress: $4M project is underway

SUMMARY: Propst Park in Columbus, Mississippi is undergoing a $4 million project, which includes new turf baseball fields, playground equipment, gym flooring, lighting, and paving. The park is being transformed from softball fields to baseball fields. Councilman Stephen Jones mentioned additional improvements such as new batting cage nets and the addition of pickleball and tennis courts. The renovation is being done in four phases, with construction currently in the first phase. Despite the ongoing work, people still visit the park, but officials believe that once completed, it will be a great place for the community to enjoy. The progress of the renovation will be updated regularly.
