It is important for parents to prevent this from happening by providing enriching activities for their children during the summer. Summer slide is a metaphor for this phenomenon that all kids experience, and it is important to address it to ensure continued learning and development.

Driver Service Bureau locations back open statewide, still seeing delays after recent update
SUMMARY: The Driver Service Bureau has reopened statewide but is facing significant delays due to ongoing technical issues following recent software upgrades. Appointments, like that of a frustrated Ocean Springs resident whose daughter couldn’t obtain her learner’s permit on her birthday, have been impacted, leading to missed school time and attendance concerns. Some, like retired officer Shan Smith, are more understanding of the situation, acknowledging the ongoing system bugs. The Bureau’s commissioner, Shan Tindle, explained that communication issues with the federal system are causing typical transactions to extend from minutes to hours. Motorists are advised to check their website for updates.
