Mississippi daycare owner charged after two children found on highway
SUMMARY: Wendy Hood, the owner of Wee Kids Daycare in Mississippi, has been charged with two counts of child neglect after two young children were found on Highway 35 North. The incident occurred on October 4 when the children wandered away from the daycare. Kosciusko police safely rescued the children from the highway. Hood turned herself in to authorities on October 8 and has since been released on bond.
