SUMMARY: Ocean Springs head boys basketball coach Colin Goley has been selected as an all-star coach for the Mississippi High School Activities Association. Along with Bay High head coach Kelton Thompson and Pascagoula boys head coach Lorenzo Wright, Goley will be part of the coaching staff for a pair of postseason games next spring. Thompson will be the head coach for the boys’ South squad in the North/South All-Star Basketball Game, while Goley and Wright will serve as assistants in other games. In addition, former Gulf Coast high school football coach Mike Battles, Sr. was recently honored with The Alabama Football Coaches Association Lifetime Achievement Award for his significant contributions to the sport.
