SUMMARY: The Harrison Central Red Rebels are aiming to make it to the South State football playoffs for the fourth time in six seasons. However, they will do so in a new classification, as they move up to Class 7A from Class 6A due to the expansion of the Mississippi High School Activities Association. They will compete in the newly named Region 4-7A along with Ocean Springs, Gulfport, Biloxi, St. Martin, and D’Iberville. Harrison Central had previous playoff berths in Class 6A and will kick off their season on August 25th against Ridgeland.
