PRCC Welcomes 400+ Women for Empowering 17th Annual Health Symposium

SUMMARY: The 17th annual Women’s Symposium was held at Pearl Community College on Saturday, January 27th. Demi-Leigh Tebow, former Miss Universe, was the keynote speaker and focused on resilience and empowerment in women based on her personal experiences. Attendees had access to health screenings, handmade items at the Art Walk, and pampering such as chair massages and manicures from PRCC . The also raised $650.00 towards scholarships for females entering a pre-med or allied health program through raffle ticket sales for designer handbags.
