Poplarville Mayor Louise Smith reported that a new, permanent post office might be in the town’s future, as a Postal Service representative has contacted her and mobile trucks have been serving as a temporary post office. This news brings hope to the people in Poplarville that they will soon have a permanent solution to their postal service needs.

Nearly two years after the collapse of the Poplarville post office’s roof, a more permanent solution could be on the way.
