MCBB: No. 16 Ole Miss dominated by Memphis 87-70
SUMMARY: No. 16 Ole Miss suffered an 87-70 defeat against Memphis, failing to carry late first-half momentum into the second half. Colby Rogers led the Tigers with 28 points, while PJ Haggerty added 17, avenging last year’s tight matchup. Ole Miss struggled early, trailing 27-14, but closed the half to trail by just two. Memphis dominated the second half, particularly after Ole Miss’s Mikeal Brown-Jones was ejected. Despite an improved second-half performance, Ole Miss struggled to score and hit only 36% of shots compared to Memphis’ 48%. Ole Miss will next face Georgia in a challenging matchup.
