Poll predicts Blackburn win, Harris gain | Tennessee

SUMMARY: U.S. Senator Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee shows strong polling support with a 23-point lead over Democrat Gloria Johnson, according to a recent Beacon Center of Tennessee poll. Blackburn holds a 53% approval rating, while 35% disapprove of her performance. Independent candidate Pamela Moses garners 5% of the vote. In the presidential race, Donald Trump leads Kamala Harris by 21 points, although Harris performs better than Joe Biden who previously faced a 23-point deficit. Voters largely believe Trump would handle natural disasters better than Harris. Early voting in Tennessee begins Wednesday.

Tennessee could create registry for habitual domestic violence offenders in honor of slain Robertson Co. deputy
