Police search for 3 armed suspects in south Jackson

SUMMARY: A large police presence was reported in South Jackson with officers responding to a residence on Forest Hill Road where individuals with firearms were reported. Stolen vehicles and firearms were found on the property and three individuals were taken into custody, while three others, possibly armed, fled into a wooded area. Nearby Forest Hill High School was placed on lockdown as a precaution, and law enforcement, including Capitol Police and K9 units from Rankin County, are actively searching for the remaining suspects.
