Playoff goatees for the Golden Eagles postseason run

SUMMARY: The Southern Miss Golden Eagles, renowned as the best fielding team in the SEC, are riding a hot winning streak into their Friday at 6 PM against the Indiana Hoosiers at UVA. Beyond their skills, they’re sporting playoff goatees—a tradition started in 2022 by former player Reece Ewing. This facial hair trend has continued, with some players fuller goatees than others. Their opponent, Indiana, ranked third in the Big Ten and reached the conference semifinals, but they haven’t Slade Wilks and his determined, goatee-growing teammates, who are embracing the intimidating look for their playoff push.

The Southern Miss Golden Eagle establish a new playoff tradition a of years ago and the goatees are back.
