Pine Belt teams ready to roll with robotics
SUMMARY: Students from The Hub City in Mississippi are gearing up to compete in the World Robotics Championship in Dallas, Texas. Three teams from the Pine Belt Robotics Academy will be participating, with one team making their debut. Competitors are judged on programming, teamwork, and other aspects of robotics. While winning is not the main goal, team members have been working hard to prepare their robots and hope their efforts will pay off. The students have seen growth in their STEM and communication skills through their robotics work. Around 40 students currently attend the academy, and they will be leaving for Dallas on April 30th and returning on May 4th.
