Petal Alderman position opens up after Stringer wins Dist. 3 supervisor election
SUMMARY: A special election will be needed in Petal after a city alderman was unofficially elected to the Forrest County District 3 supervisor position. Petal Mayor Tony Ducker will be responsible for the replacement process. Steve Stringer, the outgoing district 3 Republican supervisor, is leaving his position on the Petal Board of Alderman open and eligible for a special election.
