Supreme Court to rule on Donald Trump’s immunity
SUMMARY: The Supreme Court is set to release its much-anticipated decision on former President Trump's claim of presidential immunity from criminal prosecution. This ruling will occur on the final day for opinions to be issued. Trump's appeal had previously halted his indictment related to charges of conspiracy to undermine the 2020 election results. The decision comes just five months before the next presidential election, where Trump is a candidate. If Trump's immunity is upheld, it could halt his prosecutions and potentially lead to the dismissal of special counsel Jack Smith. Additionally, the court will address other notable cases, including those on social media moderation. Live updates are available.
