People from around the world visit Elvis Presley Birthplace Home in Tupelo
SUMMARY: Elvis fans gathered at the Elvis Birthplace for Fan Appreciation Day, where they visited the two-room house where Elvis was born. They enjoyed music and could grab an Elvis Burger from the Tupelo Elvis Fan Club. The Executive Director of the birthplace home emphasized Elvis’s impact and how his music still touches people today. There were also two large groups of foreign visitors from Holland and Belgium. These fans appreciated Elvis’s humble beginnings in Tupelo and the contrast between his birthplace and Graceland. Robin Klarenbeek, who runs an Elvis Museum in Amsterdam, highlighted Elvis’s generosity towards charity.
