Pearl remains under State Imposed boil water alert
SUMMARY: The City of Pearl, Mississippi, is under a state-imposed boil water alert due to the presence of E. coli in drinking water, detected through Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH) sampling. The notice, issued on June 27, will last at least two days. Pearl Mayor Jake Windham said efforts are underway to clear part of the city from the notice, and bottled water is being distributed.
