PCA Rodeo set to Invade Dekalb for Inaugural Event
SUMMARY: The first-ever Professional Rodeo is set for October 11th and 12th in Keer County, featuring the 3R Rodeo Company, known for 32 years of rodeo experience. The event will take place at the Keer Crossing industrial site, located at Highway 16 and Highway 397. Discount tickets are available for $15 at various local establishments, with gate tickets priced at $20. The rodeo promises family-friendly entertainment, celebrating American culture and the Western way of life, with two and a half hours of action each night. Gates open at 5 PM, with the rodeo starting at 7:30 PM.

SUMMARY: Hurricane Kirk, currently with winds of 75 mph, is expected to strengthen into a major hurricane by week‘s end while remaining in the open Atlantic. Two other disturbances are being monitored, one notably in the Gulf of Mexico with potential for development. A low-pressure area could influence weather patterns in the Gulf, possibly moving towards Florida but likely not impacting inland areas for several days. Locally, temperatures are around 70ยฐF with patchy fog expected overnight. Mild weather is anticipated for Wednesday, with highs in the mid to upper 80s and a cool down expected next week.
