Paving underway on the Mississippi Museum Trail

SUMMARY: Construction crews have started paving the way for Phase 2 of the Mississippi Museum Trail, which will connect the Belhaven Trail to the LeFleur Museum District. The trail is used daily by residents for running and biking and is a favorite among the community. The addition of the trail is seen as a great contribution to Jackson’s active lifestyle. Newcomers to Jackson are excited to bike to the children’s museum and mountain bike trails along the trail. When completed, the trail will stretch for 5 miles, providing access to 3 parks and 6 museums.

Crews hit the ground to begin paving the way for Phase 2 of the Mississippi Museum Trail.
