SUMMARY: The weather in South Mississippi is currently cloudy with temperatures in the upper 70s. There are light sprinkles but most of it is not making it to the ground due to a dry atmosphere. North Mississippi is experiencing severe weather with tornado warnings and hail. Meanwhile, South Mississippi is expected to see a warm up with sunshine pushing temperatures into the upper 80s on Friday. Rain showers are expected over the weekend with the best chance on Sunday. Saturday will have a 30% chance of rain with most of it moving in overnight and through Sunday morning. Temperature will cool down on Sunday before rising back into the 80s next week.
