Women outnumber men during early voting
SUMMARY: Election Day for the 2024 presidential race is tomorrow, with a close contest between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump, each receiving 49% support from registered voters and 2% undecided. Early voting trends show higher female turnout, particularly in key states like South Carolina, Georgia, and North Carolina. Experts predict the gender gap could exceed ten percentage points this election, emphasizing women’s preference for issues like healthcare and alignment with the Democratic Party. With record early voting in those states, showing up at the polls will be crucial in determining the election outcome.
Early voting numbers show that more women than men are showing up at the polls. A local political expert says this could sway the election.
