Coastal Family Health Center locations extend service hours after receiving funding
SUMMARY: Coastal Family Health Centers have expanded their service hours after receiving a $500,000 federal grant from the Department of Health and Human Services. This allows greater flexibility for patients, enabling them to schedule medical appointments more conveniently, such as before work or on Saturdays. Dr. Wy Williams noted that the extended hours will help address routine health needs, like physicals and ADHD follow-ups, minimizing missed school days for children. The new hours are effective immediately at clinics in various locations, including a new clinic and pharmacy in Wiggins opening this Thursday. Coastal Family Health Centers serve nearly 37,000 patients annually.

Patients seeking medical care at Coastal Family Health Center locations across the Coast now have more flexibility and time to see a doctor.
