Parts of Oklahoma could see severe weather Monday evening
SUMMARY: On Election Day, weather conditions are being monitored, featuring near-record heat followed by storm chances. A first round of rain affected north-central Oklahoma but was never severe. A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect for Kansas, which is expected to experience more severe weather. Isolated storms may develop in western Oklahoma, with storm chasers monitoring conditions. A marginal risk of severe weather persists, with potential wind gusts up to 60 mph and hail size up to quarter size. The storm activity is expected to weaken after sunset, with scattered showers continuing in central Oklahoma.

$1.3 million dollar drug bust on I-40
SUMMARY: Two suspects, Diana Delgado and David Gutierrez, were arrested on Interstate 40 near Oklahoma City for allegedly trafficking nearly 50 pounds of cocaine, valued at about $1.3 million. This incident contributes to a total of 8 tons of drugs trafficked across Oklahoma in the past three and a half years. Law enforcement, noting multiple traffic violations, initiated the stop, where they discovered the drugs hidden in a suitcase. Despite Delgado’s denial, a canine unit confirmed the presence of the drugs. Both suspects admitted they were traveling from California, heading to another destination in Oklahoma.
