Lindsey, charged with the murder of Melvin McNair Jr., was denied bond by Judge Johnnie McDaniels due to being deemed a community threat. McNair's body was found at Parham Bridges Park last month. Lindsey was arrested following a high-speed chase in McNair's truck. Lindsey claimed he shot McNair in self-defense after seeing him pointing a weapon. He then pulled McNair's body from the truck and fled in it. The case is now headed to a Hinds County grand jury.
