Parents of 13-year-old shooting suspect charged in Mississippi

SUMMARY: A 13-year-old in Clarksdale, Mississippi has accidentally killed another teenager in a shooting, leading to the parents being charged. Lashaner Marshall is charged with contributing to the neglect or delinquency of a minor, while Gill Marshall Sr. is charged with the same, as well as with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. The incident occurred at Amber Cove in Lyon, Mississippi, where deputies found a 13-year-old shot once in the upper torso while playing with a handgun. The 13-year-old suspect has been charged as an adult with manslaughter culpable negligence, and the victim was a student at Coahoma County Junior High School.
