Owner says Oak Manor Apartments renovations nearly to halfway point
SUMMARY: The owner of Oak Manor Apartments in Columbus, Mississippi, has provided an update on the progress of renovations. Two years ago, the apartment complex was set for demolition, but the former owner asked for time to do renovations. The new owner took over last year and presented a new plan to the city council. Renovations have faced supply issues and a shortage of workers, but they expect to have 32 units ready in the coming weeks. The city council is glad to see progress but hopes for faster completion. The owner will update the council again next month.
