Outdoor Adventures With Chelsea: Having fun tailgating
SUMMARY: In the South, fall signifies the arrival of football season, with tailgating becoming a cherished tradition. Friday nights bring high school games, while Saturdays are dedicated to college football. Starkville, Mississippi, serves as a vibrant tailgating hub where fans gather to support their teams, like the Rebels and Bulldogs. Enthusiastic supporters pack tents, tables, and food, often bringing elaborate decorations to enhance the experience. The atmosphere is filled with camaraderie, as friends and family enjoy their favorite tailgating meals, such as chips, dip, and chicken strips, while eagerly anticipating the weekend festivities.

County Road 11: The history of Merrehope
SUMMARY: Mary Hope is a historical tourist museum in Meridian, but little is known about its life in the 1940s as a boarding house. This glimpse into the past highlights the house’s significance beyond its current museum status. To preserve Mary Hope and keep it open, funds are needed for restoration. Efforts to raise money will ensure this piece of Meridian’s history continues to thrive.
