Enid Police warn of skimming devices on card readers
SUMMARY: Police are issuing a warning regarding the discovery of card skimmers at local businesses. They advise customers to be vigilant and check for signs of tampering. Red flags include misalignment between the card reader and its panel, as skimmers may be placed on top at odd angles. Customers should gently pull on card readers to see if they come loose easily. Any loose or movable components of a card reader should raise suspicion. It’s essential to remain cautious while using card payment systems to avoid potential fraud.
