Operation Tornado visits Oak Grove Elementary
SUMMARY: Severe weather is expected in the Pine Belt area tomorrow night through Friday, prompting a safety push called Operation Tornado. The initiative involves educating students about severe weather safety, with 123rd graders at Oak Grove Elementary participating. The students were taught how to identify safe spots during severe weather and have been asked to send pictures of themselves in their safe spots. Twins Liam and Gavin Meyers from Madison Station Elementary School have shared their photos. Some of these students will be selected as junior weather presenters and will have the opportunity to present the weather live in the 12 News studio with a member of the storm team.

East Union girls powerlifting continues streak of dominance
SUMMARY: The East Union Lady Urchins powerlifting team achieved an unprecedented ninth consecutive state championship, showcasing dominance with a perfect record over 10 years (460-0).
