Only JSU alum on IHL board votes against allowing acting president to apply for permanent role

The vote was prompted by concerns that outside candidates may not apply if Hayes-Anthony was allowed to apply. The move comes after the previous interim president resigned earlier this year, marking the third consecutive resignation of a president at the university. The board hopes to make a hire by the end of the year and has already received about 45 applications.
