One killed in an officer involved shooting in Amory

The incident occurred on Tshoy Road, with a heavy police presence as the NBI investigates. The shooting happened after officers responded to a call about someone shooting a gun in the area. The individual then shot at the officers, prompting them to return fire and kill the suspect. The NBI has released a press release stating the incident occurred at 7:00 pm. The MBI is investigating an officer-involved shooting in Amory after a man was killed by police. The suspect allegedly was firing a weapon toward officers, and when they returned fire, he was killed.
