Once homeless, couple hoping to play it forward for Thanksgiving
SUMMARY: Lauren and Wally Bullock, who experienced five years of homelessness, are now giving back this Thanksgiving through a clothing and food drive. Grateful for their three years of sobriety and newfound stability, they want to support those still in need. Partnering with Hattiesburg Community Church, the couple is collecting donations of clothes, food, and hygiene items for an event in a closed Shell station. Reflecting on their past hardships, especially during holidays, they hope their initiative will uplift others. Now employed, in their own home, and with a new baby, they emphasize the importance of showing care for those facing similar struggles.
