Ole Miss men’s hoops tops Mississippi State 86-82 in thriller

SUMMARY: Ole Miss defeated Mississippi State 86-82 in the basketball game. It was Ole Miss’s third straight win and they remain undefeated at home. Josh Hubbard, an outstanding young player, had a successful game playing for Bulldogs despite Ole Miss fans booing him. The game was tied at 39 at half time, and continued to be a back-and-forth affair. With the win, Ole Miss improved to 18-3 and 5-3 in SEC play, while the Bulldogs fell to 3-5 in conference play. Ole Miss will host No. 16 Auburn next, while the Bulldogs will visit No. 24 Alabama.
