Officials eyeing December opening date for Mississippi’s first Topgolf
SUMMARY: Mississippi will soon welcome its first Topgolf location in Ridgeland, following three years of planning. Situated off Interstate 55 at Colony Park Boulevard, the venue is set to open in December, as announced by Ridgeland Mayor Gene McGee. The facility will feature 60 climate-controlled outdoor hitting bays, a chef-driven menu, drinks, music, and year-round programming, along with Topgolf’s proprietary Toptracer technology. Beyond golfing, it will host events like receptions and birthday parties. Additionally, the site will evolve into Prado Vista, which will include a grocery store, hotels, office space, and a riverwalk, creating 200 jobs and generating over $1 million in tax revenue.

SUMMARY: The 28th annual Double Decker Arts Festival in Oxford will be held on April 25-26, featuring Mississippi cuisine, live music, and art.
