Ocean Springs Municipal Library celebrates grand reopening

SUMMARY: The Ocean Springs Municipal Library has officially reopened after renovations, attracting a large number of locals despite the rain. The renovation project was made possible with funding from the Jackson County Board of Supervisors, the City of Ocean Springs and the Friends of the Ocean Springs Library. According to Jackson George Regional Library System Director Angie Stewart and Ocean Springs Library Branch Manager Yvonne Parton, the community had been anticipating the reopening and have been returning in large numbers since the library’s doors opened again.

Mississippi Power celebrates Earth Day with Renew Our Rivers Deer Island cleanup
