SUMMARY: The group “Save OS” in Ocean Springs is raising concerns about city developments impacting residents’ quality of life. Formed a year ago, they emphasize issues like downtown noise, crime, and infrastructure. Ellen Hall, a member, highlights problems with noise from bars and restaurants disturbing residents, including those on streets like Cash Alley and Washington Avenue. Mayor Kenny Holloway mentions a noise ordinance deemed constitutional, with music restricted to 11 PM on weekdays and 11:59 PM on weekends. Save OS also seeks a decibel limit. Additionally, residents express concerns over development projects like the urban renewal plan and Front Beach Marina, advocating for inclusive growth to ensure community benefits.

Save OS continues its fight to save the quality of life for residents.
