November 1,2024: Flood and tornado risk moves in this weekend
SUMMARY: A flood watch is in effect for Oklahoma City, Stillwater, Tulsa, and southwestern Oklahoma due to expected heavy rain from an approaching storm system this weekend into early next week. While there will be dry hours, there is a low tornado risk, rated at level two on a 1 to 10 scale, especially for Oklahoma City, Chickasha, Hobart, and Hollis. A slight risk for severe weather is anticipated in central and western Oklahoma over the weekend, with the storm threat continuing into Monday as the system moves out of the region. Be prepared for changing weather conditions.

TIMELINE: Waves of storms Wednesday night and Friday (April 16, 2025)
SUMMARY: Severe storms are expected in two waves: one late Wednesday night and another Friday. Wednesday’s storms, with a low risk of isolated hail and 60 mph winds, will affect northern Oklahoma from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. Friday’s storms are more widespread, with a level two risk, primarily for wind and hail, and a low tornado risk. The storms are expected to intensify by 10 p.m., with heavy rain and thunderstorms continuing into early Saturday. A break in storms may occur before redevelopment in southern Oklahoma. By Sunday afternoon, drier air will bring clear conditions for Easter plans.

Wolves Sweep Marietta, Defend “The Jake” Title – The Davis News
SUMMARY: The Davis Wolves won their second consecutive Jake Leffler Memorial Tournament championship on April 12, defeating Velma-Alma 15-0. Davis secured victories over Ringling, Walters, and host Velma-Alma during the tournament, maintaining a six-game win streak.
